You Have Questions we Have Answers.
Have questions about renting a dumpster? You’re in the right place. We’ve covered everything from sizing and pricing to what you can toss—so you can book with confidence.
General Questions
What happens if my project changes after I book?
Projects shift all the time. If you need more time, a different size, or another dumpster, we adjust quickly.
You stay in control without paying for things you don’t need.
What makes LoadStar different from other dumpster rental companies?
Most competitors bundle 7–14 days of rental time and 3–4 tons of included weight into a premium price. That’s not generosity — it’s their storage costs and inflated weight buffers billed to you upfront.
We charge $329 flat. Need more time? $19.99/day. Run heavy? $75/ton. You only pay for what you use, and you know the number before we show up.How quickly can you deliver a dumpster?
We offer fast dumpster delivery, often next-day and sometimes same-day depending on availability.
We route trucks by area, so booking earlier gives you better time windows.
How do I know what size dumpster I need?
Most people underestimate debris. We recommend size based on your project type, material, and volume so you don’t run out of space or exceed weight limits.
In most cases, going slightly larger prevents overage fees or needing a second dumpster.
How does renting a dumpster work from start to finish?
Tell us about your project and we’ll recommend the right dumpster size. We deliver it where you want it, you fill it on your schedule, and we pick it up when you’re ready.
If your project changes, we adjust with you. No rigid timelines or surprises.
Rental Process Questions
Can I request a dumpster swap?
Yes. If your project is ongoing, we can swap dumpsters to keep your job moving without delays.
What happens when the dumpster is full?
Contact us when you’re done and we schedule pickup quickly based on your area.
We don’t remove dumpsters without your request, so you’re never rushed.
Do I need to be present for delivery or pickup?
Yes. It is LoadStar Dumpsters’ policy that an adult be present when we deliver your container. Please make sure to coordinate your schedule and have someone available at the time of delivery so we can confirm placement and get you set up correctly.
Can I choose where the dumpster is placed?
Yes. You can choose driveway, job site, or another accessible area. We follow your placement instructions carefully.
If placing on a driveway, many customers choose wheel protection to prevent marks and keep surfaces clean.
What information do I need to book a dumpster?
We need your address, project type, estimated debris, preferred size, and delivery date.
Most bookings take just a few minutes.
Pricing & Costs Questions
How does your pricing compare to other companies?
Most competitors bundle 7–14 days of rental time and 3–4 tons of included weight into a premium price. That’s not generosity — it’s their storage costs and inflated weight buffers billed to you upfront. We charge $329 flat. Need more time? $19.99/day. Run heavy? $75/ton. You only pay for what you use, and you know the number before we show up.
Do you charge extra for delivery or fuel?
Delivery and pickup are included in your flat rate — no separate delivery fee for Zones 1 and 2, which cover the majority of the Twin Cities metro. For Zones 3 through 6, a fuel surcharge of $15 to $125 applies based on distance from our St. Louis Park yard. Your zone and any surcharge are shown clearly before you confirm your booking — no surprises after the fact.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Additional costs only come from exceeding weight limits, overfilling, or disposing of restricted items.
Everything is explained before delivery.
What happens if I go over the weight limit?
If you exceed the included weight, overage is charged per ton at standard landfill rates.
We help you estimate upfront so you avoid surprises.
What is included in the dumpster rental price?
Your rental includes delivery, pickup, and a set weight allowance.
Most customers stay within that range and avoid additional charges.
